Just a little more!

A few more birthday pictures.

Bianca is 3 years old!!!

Hello!
We hope everyone is doing well.
I cannot believe how Bianca was born just the other day and now she is 3 years old! =o)
She (we all did) had a great time during a party for her on Friday. She had her friends over, we had pizza, cupcake, brigadeiros, beijinhos, ice-cream and backyard fun. Since she wanted to be a princess for her birthday (at first there was not going to be a party), we got her a dress, wand, crown, and the cutest shoes ever! =o)
Then, on Saturday, we took her ice-skating, which is something she had been asking to do. She absolutely loved it!
On Sunday, which was also Mother's Day, we all went to Rainforest Cafe. We love love love it!
Here are some pictures.
Thanks to everyone who came to the party, thanks for all the gifts that everybody sent/brought, thanks for the cards and phone calls, and thank you very, very much, for thinking of her on her special day. =o)

Have a great day.
Tati.

We are back!

Hello everyone!

We are happy to say that after a long time away from blogging, we are finally back.

Bianca will be 3 in a few days and Thomas is now 19 months old.

They are both so much fun! Bianca says a lot of different things and is very, very funny. She started gymnastic classes about two months ago and she loves it so much. Just like me! Up until about 2 weeks ago either Abram or myself had to go through her routine with her, the toddler class, now, that she is 3 (or almost) she graduated and can do things on her own. It is a dream to see her there. She asks almost everyday about going to her class. She knows it is on Saturdays, but she is always talking about it (or her 'jump class' as she says).

Thomas is the cutest and funniest little boy. He loves playing in the backyard, loves going to the park (hates to leave =o/), loves walking in the frontyard to the neighbor's house (more like running now), loves eating pasta, counting (he can count up to 10!!! Can you believe it? I mean, you may not undertand all the numbers, but I do hehe), he can almost jump and he loves playing with the blocks. Got his 3rd haircut last weekend and looks very handsome.

Well, I guess that is it for now. Just a little update on what is going on with them.

We will have more and pictures later.

Hope everyone is doing very well.

Have a wonderful week,
Tati.

And another cute one of 'the boy' =o)

Bianca Montana.

NBA, here I go!

Hello there!

Hi everyone!
We hope everybody is having a great year!
Here things are going well.
Thomas is now 15 months old and Bianca will be 3yo in May.
She is taking gymnastics classes, she has had 3 so far. She loooooves it. Specially the trampoline. I stay with her during her class. It will be this way until she turns 3, when she can 'go alone' hehe.
She has started potty training and is, lets say, 70% there hehe. We don't know if she asks to go because she wants to or because she just wants her prize hahaha, chocolate! She says a lot of different and new things now. She has been calling me 'Mom' now, so cute, not Mommy, not Juicy, just 'Moooooooooooooooooooooooom' hahaha. Oh, yeah, Hannah Montana. She loves her. Poses, dances, sings like her. Very, very cute.
Thomas is almost running. He got a haircut (his second), last Saturday. Now it is really short. He looks very different, but adorable. Yesterday he started giving me kisses. And also he will kiss the stuffed lion Vanessa gave to him. But not Daddy hahaha. He even makes the little noise 'smack'. He loves playing with his toys and the super favorite, our Florianopolis chair. He (and Bianca too) will swing in it several times a day. Now he likes going to the park, too. And gets upset when we come back home.
Last Saturday, for the first time, we left the kids under the care of somebody that is not family. We took them to a childcare center for 3 hours while we were doing our taxes. It was weird, but the place seems to be like a very reliable one. We don't plan on doing that often though. They seemed to like it, well Thomas was crying when we arrived, but probably because he had woken up and we were not around. Bianca told us the things she had done and seemed happy with this new 'school', as we called it.
A special note goes to my sister Bruna:
"Congratulations! We wish you the best in the next 4 years. Well, we do always hehe. =O)"
She has just entered the University in Sao Paulo. When she is done, in 4 years, she will become a Portuguese and French teacher. We are very proud of her, because to join this University, since it is one of the few ones that are free, you have to go through a 3day test, and do really, really well. This is the second time she takes the test, and we were so happy to learn the news. Uh huuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu! =o)
Well, that is it for now.
Have a wonderful week.
Tati.

Happy New Year / Feliz Ano Novo!

Hello everybody!
This is our first post of 2008! We hope you and your family are having a good time!
We came back from Brasil yesterday and now we are trying to get used to the cold weather again.
The trip was great! Seeing everybody again was wonderful and a lot of fun.
We visited with my Mom and my siblings in São Paulo as well as my Dad in Adolfo. We got to see a few friends, but most we didn't get to meet. Everytime we go, time seems to go by real fast.
The day we arrived, Vanessa, Guilherme and Felipe picked us up at the airport, with flowers! =o) Then, we spent the afternoon at my Mom's. She cooked delicious feijoada for us. Thank you very much! Next day we went for lunch with some of my friends from work, also some of Vanessa's friends. It was great to be able to see them again. Thanks for joining us =o) We also visited Guilherme's house and had Paulista pizza there! Uh huuuu! On Friday (I believe), we saw my friends Alexandre and Daniel, then, for dinner, we went to a 'churrascaria' Yummy! The weekend after after we visited Carlos (Vanessa's boyfriend) and got to see his new place, and also got to visit my friend Alexandre.
Then, on the weekend, we went to my Dad's house, just in time for Abram to go with Silvia to her prom. She was very beautiful and the party went nicely.
We spent Christmas at my Dad's and, oh boy, the kids got tons of gifts, from everybody. Their Cocoricó collection has grown (a lot) hehe.
Everything was wonderful. Seeing everybody, eating the foods that Benê and my Mom cooked for us. They cook very well, not like me. =o) Going to Rossi (a grocery store we went to several times haha), drinking Poty guaraná, walking through the street market, eating 'pastel', having ice-cream at Batista's shop and, the most important thing of this trip, letting Bianca and Thomas spend time with their family. How I wish we could all live closer. It was very special that they met (or saw again for Bianca) theirs grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousin Felipe, friends, in special Aline (she was born right around the time Bianca was, and they are very good friends).
I want to thank everybody for everything. Food, rides, (Felipe for letting us use his bedroom, Benê for the new mattresses), gifts, help with the children (including diaper changes hahaha that was nice break for me! hahahaha) and, the most important thing, THANKS FOR THE LOVE!
I am happy to be home, but honestly very sad to be away from my family. It is going to be weird for a few days. I will have to go to Waffle House and Freebirds to re-adapt hahahaha.
I really hope we can go again soon.
Thank God for a safe trip.
Happy New Year everybody.
Tati.
